Annual Disney Girls Trip: Epcot + Resort Hopping

Day two started in one of my favorite places in WDW: the UK pavilion at Epcot! Our itinerary was originally different, but Haley found out about a new tea experience at Rose + Crown and rearranged everything so we could go. (Did I mention she's the best? She's the best.) It's set up as an educational experience, discussing different types of tea and the brewing methods for the best cuppa. :) We sampled four different types and were treated to a selection of sandwiches and scones. It made me even more excited to get back to England this spring (but then again, what doesn't? :) ). It was definitely a highlight of the trip for me.

After Epcot, we spent some time resort hopping before heading to Animal Kingdom to ride Flight of Passage (holy wow, by the way--it was the only reason we went to AK, and totally worth it). We stopped by the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house that's big enough to fit people inside(!) and then headed to the Polynesian for some drinks at Trader Sam's--we managed to get there in time to get on the list for the Grotto, which was so fun! Sometimes I think I enjoy the resorts almost as much as the parks.

It was a busy day, but definitely a good way to end our second annual girls trip! Guess it's time to start planning for next year!
