Life Lately (in Instagrams)

Since the last week and a half has been consumed with wedding-related things, I've had a ton of instagrams since my last IG post. Here's what I've been up to since the last time we caught up.

I'm addicted to snow cones this year for some reason. This was from our first trip to Sherri's. Holy giganticness (not a word. not sorry). Tiger Blood is still my old standby, although I also like it mixed with pina colada too!
I've somehow become more of a morning person. It's weird. I love sleeping in occasionally, but I usually find myself waking up at 6 or 7 o'clock, even on my days off. I think it's because I can think of a million things to do every day before I go to bed at 8:30p like a granny.

I've found myself buying a couple things from Instagram shops. This was my first purchase; I was obsessed from the moment I saw it. Lucky I snatched it up before anyone else!

I haven't been cooking as much lately, and I feel a little guilty about that. So I made some homemade fettucine alfredo last week to make up for it. It's one of Tyler's favorites! Combine with a little garlic cheese bread....perfect. :)

Here's another Instagram purchase--this adorable dress I snagged from Bri. Love this girl's style & her adorable blog. (Also, this video pretty much convinces me that we'd be good friends if I lived in Colorado.)

We have had the funky weather around here lately, but I'm not complaining when it includes sunshowers (my favorite weather!) and amazing sunrises/sunsets.

Tyler stumbled upon a comic book/ record shop just a short drive from our apartment, and we spent hours perusing the stacks. I came home with eleven records, and spent $35. That's insanity. Some of my favorite finds are pictured. We'll definitely be back!

I'm not sure exactly why it took me so long to go to the Farmer's Market, but let's just agree that it won't be the last time, k?

Speaking of the farmer's market, I came home with a quart of fresh strawberries that were so tasty I ate almost the entire thing in a day. I also bought some local honey, coconut-roasted pecans, and some spicy chocolate ice cream!

I haven't killed these flowers yet! This is a big deal for me.

We celebrated our anniversary with pizza and shakes. Did you really expect anything different?

My sweet friend Sommer celebrated a milestone birthday this past week, and we celebrated with her & some other friends at Lambert's. Nothing says "happy birthday" like having hot rolls pelted at your head like a baseball. It was a blast (and delicious!).

I jumped back on the exercise train....and found that I'm unforgivably out of shape. Hey, I've broken that mental starting barrier, though, right?

I've had my eye on this Moorea Seal necklace for quite some time now. Lucky for me, she ran a sale right as I was about to break down and order it!

We had another "anniversary celebration" date on Friday. Really it was just an excuse to try That Lebanese Place, though. Tyler wasn't too keen on trying it at first, but we both really liked it!

I wore red lipstick for our little date day. Tyler avoided kissing me on the lips after that, but still found that a little affection was in order. :)

SUGAR COOKIE SNOW CONE!!!!!!! That is all.

Okay, I've been wanting to buy the Little House books for awhile now, but just couldn't justify spending the money on the set. I had them when I was younger, but I think my mom donated them to the library or kept them or something, because they are nowhere to be found. So when I found this for $20 at Barnes & Noble, it became mine pretty quickly.

This guy had a pretty rough headache Sunday. He doesn't feel bad all that often, so we spent the morning in the quiet with the lights off. He takes care of me an awful lot, so I appreciate the opportunity to reciprocate that, even though I hate to see him not feeling well.

I love Nathanael Greene park. I honestly think I could go there every day and not get tired of it. I talked my sweet husband into snapping some outfit pictures while we were here. :)

Hope you're having a  lovely week so far!
